Nooglutyl

Overview of Nooglutyl

Nooglutyl was initially developed in Russia. It is a synthetic nootropic that is being studied for its neuroprotective and cognitive-enhancing effects in experimental models.

Working Mechanism of Nooglutyl

Nooglutyl appears to work by modulating AMPA and NMDA receptors. Both of these receptors are part of the glutamatergic system, which is responsible for excitatory signaling in the brain of research models.

By enhancing glutamate transmission, Nooglutyl may help improve synaptic plasticity. Synaptic plasticity is a crucial process for learning and memory formation. Additionally, the nootropic has been shown to regulate GABAergic activity in research models.

Potential Benefits of Nooglutyl

Though the research on Nooglutyl is not proven yet, the following are a few of the benefits observed by anecdotal studies

• May have Anti-Amnesic as effects observed in Hypoxia / Ischemia Models
• May improve memory and learning in research models
• May have neuroprotective properties

Potential Side Effects of Nooglutyl

Due to limited research on, the safety profile of Nooglutyl is unknown. However, a few of the reported side effects are as follows

• May cause Insomnia, restlessness, or anxiety in research models
• May lead to headache, gastrointestinal discomfort in experimental models
• Over-stimulation / excitotoxicity in preclinical models
